VeryDarkMan has more unreleased evidence against Bobrisky – Lawyer tells Reps
Social media influencer VeryDarkMan strengthens his case against Bobrisky with unreleased evidence in the ongoing House of Representatives investigation over bribery allegations involving the EFCC.
Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has intensified his legal battle against crossdresser Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky. During an investigative hearing held by the House of Representatives on Monday, VeryDarkMan’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, announced that they were ready to present new evidence that had not yet been made public.
The activist had initially refused to speak at the hearing, citing the absence of Bobrisky and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Ola Olukayode. VeryDarkMan declared through his counsel that he would only speak directly once both individuals were present, promising to reveal crucial information regarding his allegations.
The influencer's accusations against Bobrisky center on claims that the crossdresser bribed the EFCC with ₦15 million to drop money laundering charges. This was supported by an audio clip released by VeryDarkMan, in which Bobrisky allegedly confessed to paying the sum and having his influential godfather ensure that he avoided a six-month sentence in Kirikiri prison. However, Bobrisky has refuted the claims, labeling the audio as fabricated.
In light of these accusations, the House of Representatives has summoned all parties involved—including Bobrisky, VeryDarkMan, and the EFCC chairman—for further investigation. The case continues to draw widespread attention as the evidence mounts against the controversial social media figure.
