US Comedy Star, Carl Reiner dies at 98

Carl Reiner dies at 98

American comedian, actor, director, screenwriter, and publisher whose career spanned seven decades, Carl Reiner dies at the age of 98. The renowned writer and director helped create The Dick Van Dyke Show and acted the prominent and well known movie OCEAN’S ELEVEN (2001), THE JERK (1979) and ALL OF ME (1984).

It was reported by his assistant Judy Nagy that he died of natural causes on Monday at his home in Beverly Hills. Reiner earned numerous awards in his career from film and television shows. He won 1 Grammy Award, 11 Primetime Emmy Awards and other awards.
