Tems’ Manager Speaks As Report Claims Wizkid Failed to Pay Tems For ‘Essence’ Collabo

Muyiwa Awoniyi, manager of Nigerian singer, Tems has replied to those saying Wizkid never paid his artiste for their collabo on ‘Essence’ song.

Essence is a track off Wizkid’s ”Made In Lagos” album which features Tems. According to reports, she co-wrote the song so she’s entitled to some form of royalties but to date, she has received nothing.

Apparently, someone who wanted to create mischief shared a screenshot which he claimed was from Muyiwa’s Instagram page saying Tems has not been paid.

In the screenshot, Tems manager had alleged that Wizkid failed to pay the female singer royalties for Essence which turned out hugely successful.

The Twitter user who shared the post wrote; ”Tems Management just confirmed

Tems didn’t received any Royalties for writing / recording Essence.

Omo wizkid no try at all oooo”

Muyiwa has vehemently being the one behind the post saying it was clearly photoshopped.

”This is photoshop. You are so weird.”
