The drama began in June 2024, when Portable accused Davido of offering him misguided advice during a dinner meeting in Atlanta. This accusation led to Davido unfollowing Portable on Instagram, signaling a rift between the two musicians.
Undeterred, Portable took to Instagram on Sunday to release his new song, originally intended to feature a collaboration with Davido. In his post, Portable expressed his frustration with the situation: “Na who helps you be your helper; who promises you fit change mind. As @davido no gree give me verse on this song, I don kuku drop myself. Star. Don’t beg to shine. Who go help you no go stress you.”
