Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte Praises Russia for COVID-19 Vaccine. Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has praised Russia’s endeavors in building up the antibody and said that the Philippines is prepared to work with Moscow on immunization preliminaries, gracefully, and creation.

“I will disclose to President Putin that I have colossal trust in your investigations in fighting COVID and I accept that the antibody that you have delivered is great for humankind,” Duterte stated, including that he believes Russia’s immunization will be prepared for the Philippines by December.

Rodrigo Roa Duterte, also known as Digong and Rody, is a Filipino politician who is the 16th and incumbent President of the Philippines and the first from Mindanao to hold the office. He is the chairperson of PDP–Laban, the ruling political party in the Philippines.

Duterte took office at age 71 on June 30, 2016, making him the oldest person to assume the Philippine presidency; the record was previously held by Sergio Osmeña at the age of 65.
