On her social media, Papaya Ex disclosed that she spends up to N24,000 daily on bags of pure water, which she now uses for everything from cooking and bathing to flushing.
In a video shared with her followers, she showed the 30 bags of pure water she had just purchased, expressing her disbelief at the cost. “Back to this! I’m tired to think a bag costs 800 Naira now in my estate. Imagine 800 Naira x 30 bags = 24K every day. N720K monthly,” she captioned the post.
Papaya Ex’s revelation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by residents in Lekki due to inadequate water supply, with many residents having to rely on expensive alternatives to meet their basic needs.
