The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) on Friday confirmed two new cases of COVID-19.
The FCTA in a post via its Twitter handle confirmed that it has so far recorded two deaths and the total number of active cases remains at 44.
“Two new cases in the F.C.T. Summary of #COVID19FCT as at 10:10pm, 17th April, 2020.
“Total number of confirmed cases: 69, Total number of active cases: 44, Total discharged: 23, deaths recorded: 2
“Residents are urged to continue to #StayHome and #StaySafe,”
Meanwhile, Nigeria on Friday recorded the highest daily number of confirmed Coronavirus cases.
This new development brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 493.
