Nigerian Army has arrested the Soldiers in a threatening Viral video

The Nigerian army has apprehended the two soldiers who threatened to rape women and girls in Warri. The two soldiers recorded it in the video that they are going to infect women and girls in Warri with HIV.

Nigerian army has arrested these soldiers.

The two soldiers in a viral video promising to retaliate an attack on their own after a man named Joseph Pessu was killed on the area for disobeying the lockdown order.

This became viral after Human right activist, Segun Awosanya aka Sagalink revealed the on going investigation. Nigerian Army announced the arrest on Friday and according to them a thorough investigation is ongoing.

When the video went viral, many people seriously condemned the act of these two Soldiers. This became a disgrace to the Nigerian Army for not dully playing their role in the lockdown process.

In response to this huge disgrace and condemnations, the Nigerian Army announced to apprehend these soldiers in question on twitter. And on their twitter handle, they have confirmed the arrest.

Their post on twitter reads; Soldiers in a viral video using uncouth and uncivilized language purportedly threatening to molest women in Warri, Delta State were arrested at 9 bridge Ikeja Cantonment Lagos State.

They further assured the general public that investigations will be swift and fair in accordance of the military laws. They further wishes to reiterate that the army would not tolerate any forms of irresponsibility and indiscipline on the part of its personnel.
