Burna Boy’s “Twice As Tall” Becomes Most-Streamed Nigerian Album On Spotify In 2020

Ace Nigerian singer, Burna Boy’s fifth studio album, “Twice As Tall” has been named as the most-streamed Nigerian album on top streaming platform, Spotify, in 2020.

This is coming shortly after same album earned the self-acclaimed Odogwu a second Grammy Awards nomination.

Burna secured the number one spot on as the most-streamed Nigerian album on Spotify in 2020 with over 64 million streams to its credit.

The ratings were strictly for Nigerian studio albums released in the year under review, 2020.

According to the streaming giant, Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ secured the 2nd position, while songstress, Tiwa Savage’s Celia emerged 3rd.

However, fast rising singer, Omah Lay’s Get Lay’d album came 4th on the chart with 10 million streams while Adekunle Gold’s, Afropop Vol 1 ranked 5th with 9.6 million streams.

Nevertheless, YBNL signee, Fireboy’s Apollo album ranked 8th on the chart with 7.93 streams. Also, Kizz Daniel’s King of Love album ranked 9th with 7.69 million streams and Niniola’s Colours&Sound album is the 10th most-streamed album in Nigeria this year with 7.61 million streams.
