The Belgian Professional Footballer and Chelsea Striker, Romelu Lukaku has revealed to HLM that when Chelsea made their third offer he was no longer with his head in Milan. Romelu Lukaku joined Chelsea this summer in a shock move after Inter Milan previously made it clear they wouldn’t sell their talisman.
The Blues had two bids turned down for Lukaku before Inter finally accepted an improved third offer. ‘Big Rom’ revealed how he felt at Milan when his former club, Chelsea came for him.
He told HLN:
When Chelsea made their third offer I knew it was serious and I was no longer, with my head in Milan. Chelsea offered €110m plus Zappacosta, but Inter said no. So I told Inzaghi: Inter pulled me out of shit but I wanna leave only because of Chelsea”
After the transfer deal went through, King Luka flew to England to complete the £97.5million transfer and he has not looked back since – starring in both of Chelsea’s last two games, and scoring on his second debut with the west London club.
Thomas Tuchel has been very impressed with him so far, especially with his debut against Arsenal.

“I hope he takes the pressure off our young guys’ shoulders. This was the first game played and we have a lot more to do. It’s only just begun. It’s not the time now for too much praise or celebration. We keep on going at the start of the season.”
Romelu Lukaku is playing brilliantly on the Belgium team. He has made 99 appearances with the senior team scoring 66 goals. Former coaches of the Belgium national team are very impressed about his performance.
