The Italian Former Football Midfield Maestro, Gennaro Gattuso steps down as Fiorentina Boss just after 23 days of taken charge.
The World cup winner has stepped down as the manger of Fiorentina Football club just after three weeks at the helm. In other words, Gattuso quits his job as Fiorentina Boss.
Gattuso was the manager of Napoli in the just ended 2020-2021 serie A campaign and took charge of Fiorentina as the manager on 25th May, 2020. The former Italian Midfield Maestro had a dispute over transfer issues with his new club owner, Rocco Commisso which led to his resignation.
The club has released a statement which on their official website which reads:
ACF Fiorentina and Mister Rino Gattuso, by mutual agreement, have decided not follow up on the previous agreements and therefore not to start the next football season together. The Company immediately set to work to identify a technical choice that will guide the Viola team towards the results that Fiorentina and the City of Florence deserve.
There has been rumors about his replacement so soon. Names such as the former Lyon Boss Rudi Garcia, former Leicester Boss Claudio Raineri and even Andres Pirlo has come out as the list of Gattuso’s replacement at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
