Lionel Messi omitted from Sun Football’s list of Most Lethal Strikers in Europe.

Six time ballon d’or winner and barcelona legend, Lionel Messi has been excluded from the 2020 list of most lethal strikers in Europe football published by Sun football.

A striker’s lethal level is measured by the number of goals he scores relative to the time spent in matches.

Cristiano Ronaldo, 5 time ballon d’or winner was third in the rankings behind unknown strikers Luis Muriel of Atalanta and Sampdoria star Federico Bonazzoli.

Luis Muriel has scored a goal every 61 minutes, netting eight times in 2020, while Sampdoria star Federico Bonazzoli has scored five times, as it takes him just 77 minutes to score.

Ronaldo comes in third having scored every 81 minutes even though he scored 21 times this season.

Borussia Dortmund goal machine Erling Haaland and PSG Neymar were also part of the list.
