Ronaldo Finally Test Negative For Coronavirus, Set To Return To Juventus

Veteran Portugal and Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo as finally tested negative for coronavirus after testing positve three times.

The 5 time Ballon d’Or winner missed the opportunity to face his long time rival, Messi in his clubs Champions League clash against Barcelona in which they lost 2 – 0.

Ronaldo is set to return to Juventus to begin training with his fellow teammates.

The announcement was made yesterday, October 30 by his club side, Juventus, in a statement released on their official website.

“Cristiano Ronaldo carried out a check with a diagnostic test (swab) for Covid-19. The exam provided a negative result. The player has, therefore, recovered after 19 days and is no longer subjected to home isolation.” the statement read.

Recall the 35-year-old Portuguese international first tested positive while on international duty with Portugal on October 13.

Ronaldo returned another positive result last week and was made to take another test earlier this week, which also returned positive.
